Brachbill worked 6.0 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out nine to earn his first win with High Point. He held opposing batters to a .105 average and faced just three batters over the minimum through six innings. The junior struck out the side in the top of the third inning and recorded multiple strikeouts in four of his six innings of work. His nine strikeouts established a new career high.
Nash entered in the 12th inning and struck out nine batters over 4.0 innings to help Longwood defeat NJIT in the bottom of the 15th. He allowed no runs on two hits and one walk. The junior faced the minimum through his first three innings before escaping a bases-loaded jam in the top of the 15th by striking out the side to earn the win.
