Big South Announces Women's Tennis Player of the Week - March 11

Marina Skegro (Zagreb, Croatia) has been named the Big South Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played March 2-8, it was announced today.
Partnering with Carlota Farrés Carreter, Skegro helped secure two impressive doubles victories -- including a decisive 6-2 win over the No. 1 pairing from Queens and a 6-4 triumph against East Carolina’s top duo of Auerswald and Calvo. In singles play, Skegro remained undefeated, earning straight-set wins over Charlotte's Shona Nakano (6-4, 6-4) and battling through a three-set match to defeat ECU's Ivona Savekova, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
