Big South Announces Baseball Players of the Week - March 23

Henry Zenor (St. Louis, Mo.) has been named the Big South Baseball Player of the Week, while Radford’s
Raymond Ladd (Danville, Va.) is the Starting Pitcher of the Week for games played March 16-22, it was announced today. In addition, Longwood’s
Wyatt Bunch (Warsaw, Va.) was selected as the Relief Pitcher of the Week, while Presbyterian infielder
Bo Moody (Georgetown, S.C.) is the Freshman of the Week honoree.
Zenor batted .529 (9-for-17) and recorded four-straight multi-hit games for USC Upstate. He finished the week with a .619 on-base percentage and .706 slugging percentage. Hitting from the leadoff spot, he drove in six RBI and scored six runs, accounting for 12 of the Spartans’ 31 runs on the week. Zenor collected three doubles among his nine hits, drew three walks, was hit by a pitch and stole one base. He opened the week with a 3-for-5 effort against Charlotte that included two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk. Zenor followed with a 2-for-3 outing with two walks and a run scored in Game 1 against Longwood before going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI in Game 2. He closed the series with a 2-for-5 performance featuring a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
Ladd earned his first win of the season against VMI, tossing 6.0 innings and allowing five hits and two earned runs while striking out a season-high seven batters. He walked just one hitter and surrendered only one extra-base hit in the outing. The redshirt-sophomore faced 23 VMI batters and held the Keydets to a .227 batting average.
Bunch went 1-0 with 6.2 scoreless innings across two appearances for Longwood, allowing just four hits while striking out five and walking none. He held opposing hitters to a .200 batting average on the week. Bunch opened with 1.2 innings of relief to earn the win against William & Mary, permitting just one hit. He followed with a five-inning outing against USC Upstate, surrendering no runs on three hits while striking out a season-high five batters.
Moody batted .438 (7-for-16) with three doubles, one RBI and four runs scored across four games. He turned in the top performance of his freshman season Friday at High Point, going a career-best 4-for-5 at the plate. Moody later recorded his eighth multi-hit game of the year with a 2-for-4 effort to close the weekend, while also picking up a hit in Game 2 of the series.
