Radford, Winthrop and USC Upstate all picked up Big South series wins during the weekend, with the Highlanders and Eagles collecting sweeps.

Radford wins series over Presbyterian, 3 games to 0
Game 1 - Radford 5, Presbyterian 0
Game 2 - Radford 10, Presbyterian 2
Game 3 - Radford 12, Presbyterian 9

Notables -- Dakota Redmon twirled a shutout and drove in two runs to help lift Radford in the 5-0 series-opening victory ... The Highlanders offense combined for 22 runs in Saturday's two wins to secure the series sweep over Presbyterian.

Winthrop wins series over Charleston Southern, 3 games to 0
Game 1 - Winthrop 7, Charleston Southern 5

Game 3 - Winthrop 5, Charleston Southern 3

Notables -- This was the Eagles' first road sweep in league play since 2022 at Gardner-Webb ... Winthrop has won six straight after back-to-back conference series sweeps ... It is the first time since the 2008 season that the Eagles have swept back-to-back Big South series.

USC Upstate wins series over Longwood, 2 games to 1

Notables -- The Spartans clinched the series on Saturday with a run-rule shutout in game one, and overcoming the Lancers' four-run first inning in game two ... In Sunday's finale, Maggie Chapin fired her first career no-hitter to lift Longwood in the series finale.  Chapin (9-9) struck out five, walked four and hit one batter, using 100 pitches for the Lancers' first no-hitter since since Sydney Backstrom did it to Gardner-Webb, 7-0, on May 1, 2022 in Farmville.
