Presbyterian Begins Play at NCAA Bermuda Run Regional

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose are in 11th place after the first round at the NCAA Regionals at the Bermuda Run Country Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Monday afternoon. Presbyterian posted a first-round score of 290 (+6). Virginia currently leads the field with a round one score of 271 (-13). Sophomore Gage Gaskins, who is currently tied for 19th place, paced the Blue Hose with an opening round 70 (-1).

NOTABLES
  • Gaskins recorded an eagle three on the 560-yard 17th hole. He also had six birdies and six pars on his round.
  • Sophomores Jeep Patrick and Richard Anaclerio are tied for 50th place after recording opening round scores of 73 (+2). Patrick had three birdies and 11 pars on his round. Anaclerio had one birdie and 14 pars on his round.
  • Sophomore Spence Hagood is in a tie for 59th place after shooting an opening round 74 (+3) with three birdies and nine pars on his round.
  • Freshman James Rhodes is in a tie for 66th place with a three-round score of 76 (+5) with three birdies and 10 pars on his round.
