ITA Honors 71 Tennis Student-Athletes for 2025-26 Academics
A total of 71 Big South tennis student-athletes have been named ITA Scholar-Athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), while all six Big South women's and men's programs received ITA All-Academic Team recognition, the organization announced today.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must meet the following requirements: 1) have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 2) be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements: 1) have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
Big South women's tennis had 39 individuals recognized, while the men's side had 32 individual scholar winners. A complete list of the Big South's honorees appears below:
