United Soccer Coaches Honor 4 Soccer Programs for 2025-26 Academics
The United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday, Aug. 7, the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
Four Big South programs (one women's, three men's) were among the 793 soccer teams (333 men, 460 women) that posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 184 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized -- including High Point University.
