Big South Men's Golfer of the Week - Sept. 3

Jace Duckworth (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) has been named the Big South Men’s Golfer of the Week for events played the opening week of the 2026 fall season, it was announced today.
In his first appearance with the Panthers, Duckworth was the runner-up at the Augusta Jaguar Fall Invitational (par 72, 7,086 yards) with a 7-under par 209 (71-67-71). He tied for first in the 76-player field in par-5 scoring at 9-under, drained the second-most birdies with 17, and was 1-under on the par-4 layouts (tied for fifth). Duckworth led HPU to a runner-up finish in the 10-team tournament as High Point posted an aggregate 54-hole score of 852 (12-under).
