Big South To Send 40 to NCAA Preliminary East Region Meet

The Big South Conference will be represented by 40 student-athletes at the NCAA Preliminary Track & Field East Region meet May 24-26 at the USF Track & Field Stadium in Tampa, Fla.  The top 12 finishers in each event at the East Prelims will advance to the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be contested June 6-9 in Eugene, Ore.

Meanwhile, Liberty sophomore Markus Ballengee has already earned a trip to the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the decathlon.  Below is the full list of the Big South’s NCAA Preliminary Round track qualifiers by school and event.  Click here for more information on the East Preliminary Meet.
