Big South To Send 40 to NCAA Preliminary East Region Meet
The Big South Conference will be represented by 40 student-athletes at the NCAA Preliminary Track & Field East Region meet May 24-26 at the USF Track & Field Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The top 12 finishers in each event at the East Prelims will advance to the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be contested June 6-9 in Eugene, Ore.
Meanwhile, Liberty sophomore Markus Ballengee has already earned a trip to the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the decathlon. Below is the full list of the Big South’s NCAA Preliminary Round track qualifiers by school and event.
