Big South Basketball Media Day Plans Announced
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference today announced its plans for the league’s annual Basketball Media Day events, which will be held virtually for the first time next week on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Big South Commissioner Kyle Kallander, and the head coaches and one student-athlete from each of the 11 Big South women’s and men’s basketball programs will be available for credentialed media on a Zoom Video Teleconference on Tuesday, Nov. 10, beginning at 9:30am. The announcement of the Big South preseason polls and preseason All-Conference teams will precede the Zoom call and will be unveiled incrementally on the league’s social media platforms beginning at 9:00am that morning.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, ESPN+ will air two Big South Media Day shows from 10:00am-12:00pm and 2:00-4:00pm. The program will feature interviews with each head coach, a Q&A with Commissioner Kallander, as well as the preseason All-Conference honors and predicted orders of finish.
