Big South Announces New Ingles "Game of the Week" Basketball TV Package on Nexstar
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference today announced a new basketball television arrangement with Big South Corporate Partner Ingles that will feature 12 ESPN+ regular-season games -- four women’s and eight men’s -- broadcast locally and regionally on Nexstar Networks’ over-the-air stations throughout the Big South footprint.
The Ingles “Game of the Week” package begins Sunday, Nov. 28 with UNC Asheville hosting Appalachian State, the first of three non-conference games to air prior to the Christmas break. The package will resume Saturday, Jan. 8 and continues through the final Saturday of the regular-season on Feb. 26.
The “Game of the Week” schedule features a rematch of last year’s men’s basketball championship game between Campbell and Winthrop on Jan. 8, which is the only regular-season meeting between the two preseason divisional favorites; a rematch of the 2021 women’s title game between Campbell and High Point on Jan. 15; a men’s doubleheader broadcast on Feb. 5, and a women’s match-up of former conference rivals Hampton and North Carolina A&T on Feb. 19.
Local affiliate carriage for the Nexstar broadcasts will be made available weekly. Below is the Ingles “Game of the Week” schedule on Nexstar Networks:
