Big South Announces 2022 Football Conference Schedule
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference announced today its football conference schedule for the 2022 season. Six teams will play five league games each to determine the league’s automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs. The slate begins Saturday, Oct. 8, and wraps on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Opening weekend will feature all six Big South teams in action. New associate member Bryant will play its first Big South contest at North Carolina A&T. Campbell will host Charleston Southern, and Gardner-Webb will visit Robert Morris. Bryant’s first home conference game will be Oct. 15 vs. Charleston Southern.
Campbell will play three of its five Big South games at home -- including Gardner-Webb in the second annual East/West BBQ Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 12. Charleston Southern will conclude its Big South schedule Nov. 12 at North Carolina A&T. The season-finale match-ups on Saturday, Nov. 19, will be North Carolina A&T at Gardner-Webb and Bryant at Robert Morris.
