The Presbyterian Blue Hose (35-14) behind two home runs from Lath Freeman and a strong pitching performance from Morgan Hess shutout the Radford Highlanders (19-29), 3-0, to fend off elimination in the Big South Conference Championship on Wednesday.

Presbyterian dropped its opening game with a 3-1 loss to the Charleston Southern Buccaneers (27-26) before defeating Radford to advance to day two of the conference tournament.

RADFORD GAME
