CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) –- Campbell sophomore midfielder Kemy Amiche (Goussainville, France) and High Point graduate forward Noah Holmes have been named the Big South Men’s Soccer Co-Offensive Players of the Week, while Panther junior defender Finn McRobb (Glasgow, Scotland) is the Defensive Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 19-25, it was announced today.  In addition, UNC Asheville midfielder/forward Sam Presser (Parker, Texas) has been selected as the Freshman of the Week.

Amiche knocked in two goals in two matches last week. He opened the span with the match’s only tally in Campbell’s win over nationally-ranked UNCG last Wednesday. The sophomore continued his goal streak with an 18th-minute tally in the Camels’ 2-2 draw at USC Upstate on Sunday.

Holmes scored a second-half brace to put High Point ahead for good in a 4-1 road triumph at Winthrop on Saturday. He netted his first goal in the 58th minute to even the score at 1-1, and later scored the game-winner in the 60th minute to give the visitors a lead they would not relinquish.

McRobb anchored a High Point backline that allowed just eight Winthrop shots with five on target in HPU’s 4-1 victory at Winthrop on Saturday. After the Eagles scored a penalty-kick goal and took the lead in the fourth minute, McRobb and the Panther defense held Winthrop scoreless for the final 85 minutes.

Presser scored a goal and tallied two assists last week in a pair of home contests. Against Wofford last Tuesday, the freshman scored a first-half goal to even up the score at 1-1, and later handed out an assist on a second-half equalizer to force a 2-2 draw. On Saturday against Gardner-Webb, he recorded his second assist of the week on a 24th-minute goal to give Asheville a first-half advantage.
