Big South Announces Women's Tennis Players of the Week - Feb. 15

Ami Grace Dougah (Lawrenceville, Ga.) has been named the Big South Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, while teammate
Elizabeth Tindera (Dana, Ind.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week for matches played Feb. 6-12, it was announced today.
Dougah was a perfect 4-0 in Asheville’s victories over UNC Wilmington and Western Carolina. Against the Seahawks, she first earned a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles before defeating her singles opponent, 6-2, 6-4, in the top flight. Dougah followed with a 6-2 triumph on the No. 1 doubles court vs. the Catamounts, then posted a 6-1, 6-1 straight-set victory in No. 1 singles vs. WCU.
Tindera won both of her singles matches vs. UNC Wilmington and Western Carolina and split in doubles action. She earned a 6-4 win in No. 3 doubles against UNCW, as well as a 6-2, 6-3 victory in No. 3 singles. Tindera was also victorious in No. 3 singles against Western Carolina with a 6-2, 6-0 result.
