High Point Wins 2023 Big South Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship
BLACKSBURG, Va. -- High Point maintained its lead to win the 2023 Big South Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday. The Panthers finished the meet with 190 points to claim its second Big South Men's Indoor Track & Field title and first since 2020. Campbell was second in the final standings with 163 points, followed by Charleston Southern in third with 120 points.

Nick Lourenco was named the Men's Indoor Freshman of the Year, while Campbell's
Charles McBride II earned Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet for having the highest nationally-ranked mark or time that was established during the Championship. McBride was also selected the Most Valuable Athlete for accumulating 26 points with his wins in the high jump and triple jump. Campbell's
Virgil Givens was honored as Coach of the Year. USC Upstate's
