Big South Announces Women's Tennis Players of the Week - March 29

Luiza Fullana (Brasilia, Brazil) has been named the Big South Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, while UNC Asheville’s
Elizabeth Tindera (Dana, Ind.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for matches played March 20-26, it was announced today.
Fullana went 3-1 in her matches last week and helped the Bucs extend their win streak to 10 and improve to 3-0 in league play. She won at No. 1 singles vs. Presbyterian on Thursday, 6-2, 6-1, and was victorious in No. 1 doubles, 6-0. Against Radford on Sunday, Fullana defeated her No. 1 singles counterpart, 6-0, 6-2, to help the Bucs to their second-straight 7-0 victory.
Tindera claimed four wins last week. She was part of the No. 3 doubles victory vs. Gardner-Webb last Tuesday, 6-1, and defeated her singles opponent in straight sets on the No. 3 court, 6-3, 6-1. Tindera then posted victories against Milligan on Wednesday, winning 6-0 at No. 2 doubles, as well as 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
