Big South Announces Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Jan. 2

Drew Pember (Knoxville, Tenn.) have been named the Big South Men’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week, while High Point forward
Juslin Bodo Bodo (Yaounde, Cameroon) is the Freshman of the Week for games played Dec. 26-31, it was announced today.
Hamilton led the Panthers with a season-high tying 23 points in HPU’s 90-85 victory over Bellarmine on Dec. 30. He made 6-of-10 from the floor as well as all 10 free throws, in addition to six rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist.
Pember turned in a season- and game-high 30 points in the Bulldogs’ five-point setback at UAB on Dec. 29. He was 9-of-14 from the field ( =64.3 percent), went 12-of-13 from the free throw line, grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots.
Bodo Bodo tied his season-high with 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting against Bellarmine, and hauled in nine rebounds (four offensive) in High Point’s victory. He also picked up a steal and a block.
