2024 Big South Women's Basketball Championship Game Moved to ESPN2
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference announced today that the 2024 Hercules Tires Women’s Basketball Championship game on Sunday, March 10 will now be broadcast on
ESPN2 at 6:00pm. The title contest was originally scheduled to be televised on ESPNU at the same time.
The women’s final will be carried live on a national linear network for the third consecutive year in 2024, as ESPNU aired the 2022 and 2023 championship games. The 2024 women’s tournament is part of the combined Hercules Tires Big South Basketball Championships March 6-10 at the Qubein Center on the campus of High Point University. The women’s tournament features eight games across four game days (March 6-7 & 9-10), and begins Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00pm with the No. 8 seed vs. No. 9 seed in a first round matchup. The quarterfinals will be held Thursday, March 7, followed by the semifinals on Saturday, March 9. Each of the preliminary rounds will be broadcast on ESPN+.
