Waldin was the top finisher for the Buccaneers at the Arturo Barrios Invitational with his 44th-place finish in the 378-runner event.  He ran the 8k race in 23:41.0, his first career sub-24-minute 8K as a collegian.

In Asheville’s first meet in nearly one month, Kiprotich placed third at the Upstate Invite with a personal-best time of 24:22.5.  His effort broke the program-freshman record by 14 seconds (24:36.4), previously set by Jan Málek last year at the Big South Conference Championship.  Kiprotich helped the Bulldogs finish fourth out of 18 teams.
