BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Gardner-Webb senior guard Ashley Hawkins rewrote the program and Big South Conference record books on Friday afternoon inside Paul Porter Arena, scoring a school and league record 47 points as GWU fell in a triple overtime heart-breaker to Queens, 99-97.  Hawkins would finish the game with 15 made field goals, 14 made free throws, six rebounds, five assists and six steals across a career-high 52 minutes.

Hawkins recorded the sixth 40-point game in conference history, and eclipsed the Big South record of 44 points, which was set by High Point's Camryn Brown against Winthrop on Feb. 1, 2020.
