High Point and USC Upstate completed series sweeps of their conference opponents on Saturday, while Gardner-Webb picked up a win to avoid being swept.

HIGH POINT 3, RADFORD 2 | BOX SCORE
Matt Little threw a complete game as the High Point University baseball team swept the Radford Highlanders on Saturday afternoon, 3-2. This is the Panthers seventh win in a row which ties the program record as a division one school and the first back-to-back weekend sweep since 2022.  Little pitched his first complete game as a Panther and earned his second win as he went nine full innings, allowing two runs, on four hits. Little got the job done only having to throw 92 total pitches.  High Point backed Little up by getting on the board first in the second inning. Dawson Harman laid down a perfect safety squeeze bunt to get Brayden Simpson home.

USC UPSTATE 7, UNC ASHEVILLE 6 | BOX SCORE
A day after not holding the lead until plating the final run to take a series victory, USC Upstate baseball earned another come-from-behind victory Saturday afternoon to complete the sweep of the inaugural meeting on the diamond of the Ingles I-26 Rivalry Series with a 7-6 win over UNC Asheville at Cleveland S. Harley Park.  Seeing a familiar beginning to game two of the series, the Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead, building the advantage to as many as four runs before the Spartans began their comeback. Building upon a series trend that saw Upstate score one more run with a home run than it scored in the game before, the Spartans scored each of their seven runs Saturday via the long ball, slugging four on the afternoon.

GARDNER-WEBB 11, PRESBYTERIAN 1 | BOX SCORE
The Gardner-Webb University baseball team defeated Big South opponent Presbyterian College on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 11-1. The Runnin' Bulldogs scored 11 runs on 11 hits to take the ballgame in seven innings.  Tommy Tavarez got things started in the second with a two-run shot to left center. Max Smyley fallowed in the third with a solo home run.  PC's lone run came in the fourth on a single with the bases loaded.  Gardner-Webb responded in the bottom frame putting up four more runs with Lawson Knight, Smyley, Wade Kelly, and Ryan Kennell all getting RBI's.
