Big South Announces Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - April 24

Lindsay Cooper (Charlotte, N.C.) was selected the Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, while UNC Asheville’s
Brianna Moore (Murphy, N.C.) earned Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. Charleston Southern’s
Freya Buglass (Trowbridge, England) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week.
Cooper won the 400m Hurdles at the Wake Forest Invitational with a school-record time of 58.41. That performance ranks fifth-fastest all-time in Big South history.
Moore recorded the fourth-best long jump distance in Big South history with her 6.13m mark at the Georgia Tech Invitational. She finished sixth overall in the event.
Buglass ran a 4:34.94 to win her heat in the 1500m at the Georgia Tech Invitational. Her time is a personal-best and ranks third in program annals.
