Peyton Carr Drafted by Minnesota Twins

Peyton Carr has been selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 10th round of the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft, with the 308th overall pick.
Carr played in just 27 games due to an injury in the beginning of the season, but started all 27 contests at the DH spot in the lineup. He averaged .417 at the plate, slugged .864, crushed 13 homers, seven doubles, and drove in 30 runs in 103 plate appearances. The First-Team All-Big South honoree had 12 multi-hit games, and tallied seven hits, five homers, and six RBI in the USC Upstate to earn Big South Player of the Week honors on May 6.
