Big South Announces Women's Golfers of the Week - Oct. 23

Caroline Patterson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week, while Longwood’s
Avery Nordman (Ottawa, Ontario) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week for events played Oct. 16-22, it was announced today.
Patterson tied for fifth at the UNCG Collegiate (par 72, 6,011 yards) with a 4-over par 220 (73-71-76) for her second consecutive Top 10 finish. She was the top finisher among the 26 Big South golfers competing, and helped the Bulldogs to a runner-up team finish in the 11-team event.
Nordman tied for 12th at the UNCG Collegiate with a 7-over par 223 (75-75-73). She led the 67-player field in par-3 scoring (-3) and tied for the second-most pars with 39.
