CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – High Point infielder Landen Johnson (Haubstadt, Ind.) has been named the Big South Baseball Player of the Week, while Radford’s Joshua Milleville (Lockport, N.Y.) is the Starting Pitcher of the Week for games played March 3-9, it was announced today. In addition, Presbyterian College’s Sean Hollister (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) was selected as the Relief Pitcher of the Week, while USC Upstate’s Henry Zenor (St. Louis, Mo.) is the Freshman of the Week honoree.

Johnson batted .667 (8-for-12) with six runs, eight RBI, three doubles and a home run in games against Georgia and Stonehill. He walked six times and reached base 13 times in 18 plate appearances. He opened the week going 2-for-3 with a  double and one RBI against Georgia, and then went 3-for-4 with five RBI in the weekend’s series opener with Stonehill. He added a homer and double with four runs and two RBI in the second game of the series and capped off the week with a double and run scored on Sunday.

Milleville delivered a standout performance in his start against UNCG, tossing five innings while allowing just four hits and no earned runs. He struck out eight batters, a career high and tying for the third-most in a game by a Big South student-athlete this season. Opponents hit just .200 against him in the outing as he kept the Spartans in check to cap off a dominant showing on the mound.

Hollister picked up two wins in as many appearances last week, posting a flawless ERA across 8.0 innings of work. He opened the week with 3.1 innings of relief in a 4-3 victory over Wofford, allowing four hits but no earned runs. He followed that with a dominant performance against No. 23 Alabama, tossing the final 4.2 innings while limiting the Tide to just one hit and no runs, adding two strikeouts to secure the win.

Zenor put together a strong week at the plate, slashing .357/.400/.571 with five hits—three of them doubles—while tallying two RBI and three runs scored. He picked up a hit in the midweek matchup against No. 4 Clemson before closing the weekend with back-to-back multi-hit games against No. 19 Troy. On Saturday, he recorded a double, an RBI, and a run scored in a two-hit effort, then followed it up Sunday with two more doubles, an RBI, and a run to cap off a productive series.
