HOW IT HAPPENED
* Eagles put runners on second and third to start the day in the top of the first, but a groundout ended the inning
* Radford did the same in their half of the inning, but a strikeout kept the game scoreless
* The Highlanders then loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the fourth, but another strikeout snuffed out the threat and the game went to the fifth inning still tied at 0-0
* Winthrop loaded the bases in the sixth with no one out and the first run of the game was scored as Ethan Wilson reached first on a fielder's choice, driving in Koby Kropf
* Then two plays later with the bases loaded, Chazz Grossington walked in Chronis and made the score 2-0 in favor of the Eagles
* In the next inning Winthrop extended their margin to 5-0 on Skowronski's RBI single to left field and Chronis's two-run blast to left field
* Both plays occurred with one out
* Natividad's RBI single up the middle drove in Colin Crowley with one out to up the lead to six
* Eagles went on to record the shutout
