CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference announced today its Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for competitions during the weekend of Jan. 8-11.  Charleston Southern’s Aden Price (Columbia, S.C.) was selected both the Men’s Track Athlete of the Week and Freshman of the Week, with UNC Asheville’s Nkosi Jeju (Soweto, South Africa) tabbed the Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.

Price broke the Big South record in the 300m at the Clemson Invite with a time of 33.30 seconds -- bettering the old league mark by just .08.  He was also part of the Bucs’ 4x400m relay that finished fifth in a time of 3:16.46.

Jeju opened his indoor season with a victory in the long jump at the UNCA Collegiate Opener, and his winning mark of 7.40m broke his own school record.  It is the top performance in the Big South this year.
