Big South Announces Men's Tennis Players of the Week - April 14

David Mamalat (Philadelphia, Pa.) has been named the Big South Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played the final week of the regular-season, it was announced today. In addition, UNC Asheville’s
Harrison Cooper (Derby, Great Britain) was named the Freshman of the Week.
Mamalat recorded a straight-set win (6-4, 6-4) at No. 1 singles on Presbyterian's Senior Day -- a 6-1 win over UNC Asheville this past Saturday. He also teamed with Matija Samardzic for a 6-2 victory on the No. 1 doubles court, helping the Blue Hose capture the doubles point.
Cooper went 2-0 on court No. 5 for the Bulldogs. He began the week with a win over UNC Greensboro’s William Elmers (6-3, 3-6, 6-0). Against PC, Cooper defeated Dario Navarro in straight-sets, 6-3, 6-2.
