Baden totaled five points on two goals and an assist during Winthrop’s 1-1 week, scoring in each match. The sophomore opened the scoring just 2:45 into the first half against Wofford, giving the Eagles an early 1-0 advantage with an unassisted finish. He then scored the first and eventual game-winning goal in Saturday’s 3-0 win at VMI, finding the back of the net in the 47th minute before assisting on Winthrop’s third goal in the 67th minute. Baden put three of his six shots on target while playing 130 minutes on the week.

Brindley played all 180 minutes between the posts and earned his third win of the season in goal.
Saribekyan posted a hat trick with all three goals coming in the second half, rallying Longwood from a halftime deficit to a 4-3 win over ETSU. Trailing 2-1, the freshman scored twice in a 5:41 span to put the Lancers ahead, 3-2, in the 65th minute. After the Buccaneers tied the match in the 76th minute, Saribekyan converted a game-winning penalty kick with five minutes remaining to secure Longwood’s fifth straight win to open the season, tied for the second-longest winning streak in program history at the Division I level.
