Jordan Parry is in his 4th year with the Big South Conference in 2025-26, and second as Assistant Commissioner-Communications & Branding. He joined the staff in October 2022 as Director of Communications & Social Media.

In his role, Parry leads the conference’s social media and content development initiatives to enhance the visibility and engagement of the league, its member institutions, and student-athletes; spearheads annual upgrades to the league’s graphics suite, communicates the league’s messaging on @BigSouthSports platforms, and strategizes opportunities to maximize followers, reach, and engagement on social media.  Parry also supports the Conference's overall media relations activities, and serves as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball, baseball, and men’s and women’s soccer.  He also assists with softball and women’s lacrosse, and successfully developed the Big South’s 40th Anniversary campaign in 2023-24.
 
Before joining the Big South, Parry was the Director of Sports Information at Gardner-Webb University, where he was the primary sports information contact for men’s basketball, women’s volleyball, and lacrosse while assisting with football and men’s and women’s soccer.
 
A native of Barre, Vermont, Parry graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communications. His experience includes a three-year stint as the lead media relations intern for the Arizona Cardinals and a four-year role as a sports information intern at Arizona State.
 
Parry’s experience also includes roles at several major sporting events. In 2015, he was a member of the NFL’s Super Bowl XLIX public relations staff, where he escorted MVP Tom Brady to the trophy presentation, postgame interviews, and other media obligations. He served as the assistant host media coordinator for the 2015 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament first and second rounds in Tempe, and he spent six years assisting with media relations efforts for the WM Phoenix Open. 
 
Parry also contributed to the creation of the Arizona Bowl, a college football bowl game located in Tucson, and was the press box coordinator for the Copa América Centenario, an international men's soccer tournament hosted by the United States in 2016.
 
Parry relocated to Charlotte in 2017, where he resides with his fiancé, Abby.
